When creating this piece I was using a new rendering technique, and I think it looks really good, and it looks more like shadows. I also experimented with the texture brushes, to create the background. I like the opacity changes I made on some of the drawing, I think it adds to vibe and my thoughts of Scylla. I picture her as being scary and dangerous, but having some beauty to her, which is why I think the transparent parts work so well.
