INDUCTION PROJECT
This was the first project I got in my 2nd year and it went on for a week, and we could create whatever we wanted, so I decided to experiment with a rendering technique I had heard of. At this stage I hadn't fully developed my rendering technique, and I was using a colour between purple and blue to create shadows, and with this technique it was the same but having a light blue colour on the outline of the purple.
At the time of making this, I liked to create characters who had a lot going on with the general design. I think the amount going on suits this creature because based on the face shape and facial features alone, its very clear its not human. This was my first time drawing horror, and unlike most of my art I didn't do much research into what makes something scary or creepy, I just let my imagination go.
